About the Stronghold Wrestling Club

-Welcome to Stronghold Wrestling Club-

Beginner Youth Practice-

-High-paced youth practice designed to keep your young athlete engaged and learning the entire time. We start every session with tumbling, isometric exercises, and stretching to get the muscles warmed up. Following the warm-up is an introduction to the basics of wrestling. Each practice is finished up with an exciting game. Practice meets 1 hour, 3 days/week. It is recommended for children attending K-8th grade.

Advanced Youth/Middle School/High School

-During this ultra high energy practice, we take a more focused approach to fine-tuning the technique of our youth athletes by helping them understand the ins and outs of the sport at an early age to best achieve their goals. The youth black practice group is based on skill level and is by coach invitation only.

Our Mission

It is the mission of Warrior Wrestling Club to teach the art of wrestling in both national and international styles while mentoring the youth under our tutelage. Our mission exists in the knowledge that we will encourage and promote personal growth spiritually, physically, and emotionally through positive reinforcement of activities, which constantly challenge the spirit, body, and mind.

The sport of wrestling creates a unique platform for athletes to experience the personal challenges associated with one on one competition. The wrestlers encounter and grapple with those time-tested traits that form the character of a man. We believe it is essential to teach these principles as the foundation of success in the arena of competition thereby empowering our young wrestlers for the rest of their lives.

We members, leaders, and coaches of Warrior Wrestling Club pledge to promote, teach, encourage, and value:

Faith

Humility

Charity

Responsibility

Our Program

The WARRIOR WRESTLING program challenges the systems of the body, especially the cardiovascular, muscular and skeletal systems. We advise that if your child has any physical ailment, is taking medication or is otherwise not in excellent physical condition suitable for strenuous activity, their participation may be injurious to them.

WARRIOR WRESTLING goes all-out to create a safe and fun environment for our fans and to develop young upcoming athletes as wrestlers. WARRIOR WRESTLING also helps those parents that volunteered as coaches, team parents, officials and staff members an unhindered opportunity to manage a successful program.

For the most part, WARRIOR WRESTLING never has direct responsibility for chaperoning the conduct of youth participants during its events. WARRIOR WRESTLING relies on coaches, parents, and chaperones to ensure that every young wrestler attending a WARRIOR WRESTLING-sponsored event is safe and is aware of the sanctions for misbehavior. Coaches, chaperones, and parents bear the responsibility for giving youth wrestling participants the rules of behavior and their sanctions - failure to share this information do not excuse any inappropriate behavior on the part of youth wrestlers nor does it affect WARRIOR WRESTLING's ability to hand out sanctions.
